recipe question in a sec...ummmm, i was at the Virginia Diner(07-29-08)...my wife and a friend were working on a job in the area and had seen the the va diner featured on an episode of "diner's, drive in's and dives". We had to go there!! we're big fans of Guy and his show's!!!
anyways...if your in the area...GO THERE!!!
the food, the hospitality, the atmosphere, the food...if i'm within 100 miles of there...it's not out of the way!!!

their pie seemed to be in two layers, the bottom containing...(?)<--a velvet smooth buttery peanut flavor....and a top of virginia peanuts(?)<-- something like peanut brittle but soft...

how is this achieved mixing all the ingridients together?
