i love Laksa and made a prawn one for simon which he has never forgotten and periodically asks me to make again! At least i know it tasted alright! Your recipe looks lovely; i remember that you can buy big bags of curry powder and that indeed they were for meat, fish or veg - only wish they did the same thing here rather than the generic curry powder. Some of my friends make their own as the shop bought isn't suitable for more subtle veg/fish dishes. Suppose i could always look for the curry powder in China town.......or the Indian shops in Brick Lane.......
