Elly, Ohio

Here is the one I cut out of the coupon section just a week or so ago.
ALL AMERICAN FLAG DESSERT
4 cups boiling water, (divided use)
2 4oz or 1 8oz Berry Blue Jello
2 4oz or 1 8oz. Cherry or any red flavor Jello
3 cups cold water (divided use0
1 4oz. Lemon Jello
1 8oz. tub cool whip
Stir 1 1/2 cups boiling water each into blue and red jello in separate bowls, stir at least two minutes to dissolve. Stir 1 1/2 cups cold water into each bowl.
Spray a 13x9" pan with cooking spray; place on cookie sheet. Pour blue jello into pan. Refrigerate 45 minutes until set but not firm (gelatin should stick to finger when touched and should mound) Refrigerate red gelatin 45 minutes in bowl.
Stir remaining 1 cup boiling water into lemon jello in a bowl, stir at least two minutes to dissolve. refrigerate 25 minutes until slightly thickened (consistency of unbeaten egg whites), stirring occasionally. Stir in cool whip with wire whisk. Gently spread over blue jello in pan. Refrigerate 10 minutes until set but not firm. Gently spoon red jello over gelatin mixture in pan.
Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight till firm. Decorate with additional cool whip and fruit (such as blueberries and strawberries) to resemble a flag. Makes 16 servings.
