And the mystery thickens

Misc.

hi, kiddo,

nope, not a name brand. the midwest grocery stores have a little bakery section, with the glass display counters full of doughnuts and banana bars and french bread. cupcakes with plastic decorations on top. "Happy Birthday Blank" cakes. you know what i mean? they also bake up things like elephant ears, boston cream pies and these zorba rolls and stack them in poly bags around the store.

worse comes to worst, i will just have to buy a bag and take them to "food day" at work. that way i won't be stuck with them if i don't like them.

but seriously, you think it sounds like a greek bread/pastry?
