getting started scrapbooking

Misc.
Micha, As you learned, the word scrapbooking today means a WHOLE lot more than those old books we put together years ago that have yellowed with age! This is a hobby/craft that is phenomenal, and unlike many crafts or hobbies, I think this one has lasting power. That being said, I am NOT a professional scrapper, but several years ago when I got a yen to try it, someone told me the best book to get started was The Complete Idiot's Guide to Scrapbooking. I got it, and refer to it a lot to help me organize my pictures. Lots of stuff out there, but basically, you want to put your pictures on acid free paper so that they won't yellow with age. Also acid-free pens, glues, etc make the time you spend putting your memories together a time well spent and an enjoyment for many many years.
