I would also appreciate the secret to this potato salad

I am from Woodhaven, Queens, New York originally and would also love to know how to make "REAL" potato salad. I know that the potatos are sliced rather than chunked and that it has almost a sweet flavor to the dressing...COME ON!! Somebody out there knows this recipe, I am sure! :)
