Jon -Re; ISO: Beaver tail question

Misc.
Jon....Not really sure what you are asking but here is my answer. The Beaver Tail recipe is so called because of the shape of the dough when it has been deep fried and not because of taste. All the recipe that I have seen are fairly similar. Canadians call the wonderful pastry after their Cdn. Beaver and the Americans call it Elephant Ears after the Elephant Ear shape. The 2 shapes are about the same! Hope this answers your question. Judy
