More edible centerpiece ideas

Misc.

It is me again. I had some additional thoughts about fashioning an edible "turkey" centerpiece.

You could use a nice half-round piece of cheese at the rear of the turkey's body in which you could add the various veggies to make the tail feathers. This would enable you to make the tail piece ahead and keep it refrigerated until ready to decorate the table.

Curled carrot pieces would also look good at very base of the tail feathers.

Place the turkey on a lovely big platter and decorate the platter with delicate lettuce leaves and lots of parsley. You could also place different varieties of nuts and/or olives around the platter for decoration. Baby pumpkins and mini squashes, etc. would also be a nice addition near the centerpiece.
