Oh my gosh, dearest CN: I am just 61 & I would not be happy if dearest Coqui

Misc.
(my niece, because I never married nor had children) if she celebrates for me an "older than dirt" birthday party. I can perfectly understand what you mean & the importance of celebrating her 80th birthday. I suggest a small change in the name of the party to: CELEBRATION OF LIFE; you are as perfect as an extraordinary aged wine!

She is a daughter of the "roaring twentieth"; of the marvelous renaissance of last century after first World War, of short pleated skirts, of martinis, lace in blouses & handkerchiefs; of Hemingway & F. Scott Fitzgerald; of the Great Gatsby & his quest for richness & beauty.

Prepare for her a beautiful party, with colorful cocktails & canap s & with the music of the times. Include some champagne because not everyday a wonderful mam celebrates her 80th birthday. If possible include some restored photos of her youth & make her remember how beautiful & beloved she was....that is the kind of birthday I will love & I am sure she might enjoy.

Please, let me know if you want recipes of suggested food of the epoch.

Gladys/PR
