re: 72 Market Street Meatloaf - gravy straining question

Misc.
Hello Dick,

In regards to your question, you do strain the solids from the gravy. It's a little confusing in the instructions because they say to remove the herbs but I think that's just a reminder in case someone doesn't strain the gravy that those must be removed before serving. You can see if you like the consistency of the peppers and add them back in after straining it, but I think you'll find that they'll be too soft. If you want, you can press the vegetables when straining to give added flavor to the gravy.

I few of our visitors have tried the recipe - maybe they will share their experiences with the gravy too.

I hope that's a help!
