Re: Tuna Casserole

Misc.

Hearty Tuna Casserole

3/4 lb kraft delux cheese
1 can tuna, drained (I use two)
1 can cr. mushroom soup
1/3 cup milk ( I use more to taste)
3 cups medium noodles, cooked
1 pkg frozen peas (I don't like peas so I use 3/4 can green beans)
1/4 chopped onion (I don't use onion)
1/2 salt (I don't use salt)
1/2 cup crushed potato chips (I guess this makes the dish but I never have any chips so I have used Durkee french fried onions instread)

heat oven to 350
Stir cheese, soup and milk in large saucepan until melted
Add cooked noodles, peas, tuna onion and salt. spoon onto greased 2 qt casserole dish. Top with chips.
Bake 25 minutes. makes 6 servings.

I have baked it but I usually just stop at the stove top, add some toasted durkee onions when I serve and call it a day. It only takes 15 minutes then instead of 45. Good luck.
