Recipe(tried): Pork Chop Pulled Pork

Misc.
I found a shortcut for making pulled pork. Always used pork butt in the past, but this is leaner and just as flavorful. I used a combination of tomato-based barbecue sauce and molasses flavored style.

6 good-sized boneless pork chops (whatever is on sale)
12 oz. cola
3 cups prepared or home-made barbecue sauce
salt and pepper to taste

Place raw chops in crock pot. Pour cola over them. Season with salt and pepper. Cover pot, and allow chops to simmer 6 hours. Test for doneness by shredding a piece off with a fork. Continue cooking until meat is not resistant.
Add barbecue sauce until it is the consistency you like. cook and additional hour with the cover ajar to allow steam to escape. Serve on rolls, with cole slaw on top. May be frozen.
