Recipe(tried): Mueller's Lasagna with Meat Sauce

I'm pretty sure this is what you're looking for. It's the only lasagna I've ever made!

MUELLER'S LASAGNA

1 lb. hamburger
1/3 cup minced onion
1 Tbsp. salad oil
3 to 4 garlic cloves
3/4 tsp. salt
3 Tbsp. dried parsley
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. dried oregano
1 (28 oz.) can tomatoes
1 (28 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
lasagna noodles, cooked
1 1/2 lb. mozzarella cheese
24 oz. cottage cheese
Chopped fresh parsley (for top)

Saute hamburger and onion in salad oil.

Slice and mash garlic with salt; add to meat along with parsley, black pepper and oregano. Simmer.

In a saucepan, simmer tomatoes (cut up), sauce, and tomato paste. Mix together with hamburger mixture and simmer again.

Layer in a baking dish. (Layers: sauce (thin layer), noodles, sauce, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, noodles, sauce, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, noodles, sauce, mozzarella cheese, cottage cheese, parsley on top.)

Bake about 1 hour at 350 degrees F. Sauce should be bubbling and cheese melted.
