Recipe: Ambrosia and Heavenly Hash

Salads - Fruit, Gelatin
Ambrosia

1 can crushed pineapple
1 can mandarin oranges
2 apples, cubed
3 bananas
1 cup seedless grapes
1 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup raisins
1/4 cup salad cherries
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 tbsp. milk
1 tbsp. sugar

Combine fruit and nuts in a large bowl.

Mix mayonnaise, milk and sugar together. Beat until smooth. Pour over fruit mixture. Sprinkle with grated coconut, if desired.

Heavenly Hash

2 red apples, cored and chopped
2 green apples, cored and chopped
2 oranges, peeled and chopped
2 tangerines, peeled and chopped
1 cup seedless red grapes, halved
4 bananas, chopped
1/2 cup maraschino cherries, chopped

SAUCE:
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 cup milk
1/2 tsp. vanilla flavoring

Mix sauce well and pour into fruit mixture. Place in refrigerator until meal is ready to be served.
