BAKED RICE WITH PEAS
1 3/4 cups water
1 1/2 cup long-grain regular rice
1 (10 ounce) can chicken both
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
1 (10 ounces ) package frozen peas, thawed
Combine all ingredients except peas in a 1 1/2 quart casserole.
Cover and bake at 350 for 1 hour, or until rice is done.
Ten minutes before serving, stir in thawed peas. (Do not add peas before that time, as they should be crisp.)
Servings: 6
