Recipe: Beets and Pineapple

Beets and Pineapple

2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 tbsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. salt
1 cup pineapple tidbits
1 tbsp. butter
1 tbsp. lemon juice
1 (1 lb.) can of beets, slice and drain

Combine brown sugar, corn starch and salt in pan. Stir in the pineapple with syrup. Cook, stir constantly until it bubbles. Add butter, lemon juice and beets. Cook for about 5 minutes.
