Recipe(tried): Chicken A La King

Misc.
When I want chicken ala king (I like it over waffles- homemade of course) -I stew up some chicken - then take out of liquid (save this)- debone and cut up chicken. Strain the cooking broth (made with onions, carrotts and celery).
I leave some small pieces of onion and carrot in and then add some pieces of red pepper - I bring all that to the boil and thicken with some cornstarch in water. Then I add the chicken. You can make the broth as thick as you want with the addtion of the cornstarch/water mix. Then use over toast points, noodles, rice or like me...waffles.
Sorry not an exact recipe but I cook like this alot. Just a gut cook like my mom.
Good luck and enjoy!!
