Recipe: Cross Country Oatmeal Cookies

I'm not sure this is the one you are after, but maybe it will work.

Cross Country Oatmeal Cookies
3/4 c corn oil
1 c firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1 c quick cooking oats
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 c coarsely chopped nuts

in large bowl with mixer at medium speed beat corn oil, sugar, eggs and vanilla until thick. add flour, oats, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. beat at low speed until blended. stir in nuts. drop by level tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart on greased cookie sheet. bake 350 for 12 to 15 min. or until brown. abaout 3 1/2 dozen.
