Sonoran Salad
lg. head romaine lettuce
1 large tomato, chopped
1 med. red onion, chopped
1 large avocado, chopped
3 ounces Blue cheese, crumbled
6 slices bacon, fried and Crumbled ( use 4 slices of pepper bacon, it is
thicker)

dressing
3/4 cup vegetable oil
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced or 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons sugar ( I use only 3)
pepper to taste
I make the dressing ahead and put in jar and mix well. ref.

Combine dressing ingredients in a jar and shake well.
Place romaine on bottom of bowl. chop vegetables in uniform size. Arrange in
a colorful row on top of the lettuce. Add blue cheese, bacon, and avocado. Add
dressing just before serving.
