Cheese Board
rec.food.cooking/Jennifer Halverson (1998)
The easiest appetizer I can think of would be a cheese board. A really nice presentation of the food will really impress the guests.
Buy a few different gourmet imported cheeses and put them on a large cutting board. Surround them with a couple different types of crackers, and slices of French bread. Put our a little bowl of gourmet type mustard, maybe a bowl of pesto, black and green olives. Maybe some grapes and sliced apples.
