Recipe(tried): Holiday vegetable wreath

Misc.

One of my favorite vegetable dishes for a holiday gathering is a vegetable wreath. It calls for:

1 good size bunch of fresh broccoli, washed and cleaned (by that I mean peeled and cutting the floweretts into bit size portions -- same the stems for another meal)

1 good size bunch of fresh califlower, washed and cleaned (as above)

1 nice size bunch of radishes, cleaned

Using your largest size (and I do mean large) round platter, put your favorite dip into the center of the platter. Add the broccoli flowerettes and califower around the dip (onion is nice dip). Use your artistic talents (even if you don't think you have them) and balance the green and white vegetables. Add the radishes last. what you will have is a green and white vegetable wreach with red radishes (they look like holiday berries).

During the holidays when you are being bombarded with sweets, these vegetables are appreciated. It makes such a pretty platter too! Nice to take to a holiday potluck too!
