Recipe: Irish Coffee Muffins (using Irish whiskey and coffee liqueur, 1980's)

2 cups flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 tbsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1 egg, beaten
1/3 cup butter, melted
1/2 cup heavy (whipping) cream, unwhipped
1/4 cup Irish whiskey
1/4 cup coffee liqueur
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
Sift the first 4 ingredients together.
Stir in remaining ingredients, until moistened.
Fill paper-lined muffin tins full, and bake approximately 20 minutes.
Makes 12 muffins
