Recipe: Homemade Sweetened Condensed Milk

HOMEMADE SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK

Equivalent to 1 can.

3/4 cup sugar
1/2 cup hot water
1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. nonfat dry milk

Dissolve sugar in 1/2 cup hot water and cool thoroughly.

Add powdered milk. Blend in blender 3 to 4 minutes at highest speed. Ready to use.

Store in refrigerator 3-4 weeks.
