Recipe: Hot Asparagus Dip and Asparagus Dip for Elaine

Hi Elaine:-) I have not tried either of these Asparagus Dip recipes but thought you could see if they interest you. I will also post two recipes for Artichoke Dip for you to consider.

HOT ASPARAGUS DIP
Servings: 8 to 10

2 (12 ounce) cans asparagus spears
1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 1/2 cups Parmesan cheese, grated
2 cloves garlic, minced

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Drain and chop asparagus. Add remaining ingredients and mix; pour into baking dish.

Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until slightly brown and bubbly. Remove from oven; sprinkle with cheese.

Serve with toasts or crackers.

ASPARAGUS DIP
Makes: 1 1/2 cups

10 1/2 ounces cut asparagus spears, drained
1/2 cup dairy sour cream
1/3 cup mayonnaise or reduced calorie mayonnaise
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1 dash hot pepper sauce

Combine all ingredients in small bowl. Stir until well combined. Cover and refrigerate several hours to blend flavors.

Serve with crackers or chips.
