Huckleberry Pie
Makes one 9-inch pie
3 cups fresh or frozen huckleberries
1 cup apple -- grated
1 cup sugar
2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon almond extract
dash salt
pastry for double crust pie
Measure ingredients into a two-quart mixing bowl and mix well. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Cover with top crust and bake at 375F for about one hour or until nicely browned.
