Recipe: Iceberg Lettuce Salad with Yogurt Dressing (using vanilla yogurt, Pillsbury, 1980's)
SaladsICEBERG LETTUCE SALAD WITH YOGURT DRESSING
FOR THE SALAD:
2 cups torn iceberg lettuce
1 cup torn spinach
1/3 cup sliced red onion
1 small tomato, cut into bite-size pieces
1 small avocado, peeled, cubed, tossed in lemon juice
FOR THE DRESSING:
1/2 cup vanilla yogurt
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon lemon juice
Dash fresh ground black pepper
In salad bowl, combine all salad ingredients.
In small bowl, combine all dressing. ingredients; blend well.
To serve,pour dressing over salad and toss lightly.
Makes 4 servings
