M&M Peanut Butter and Chocolate Cookies
3/4 cup margarine, softened
3/4 cup peanut butter
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup light brown sugar
2 large eggs
1 tsp vanilla extract
1 2/3 cups all purpose flour
3/4 cup quick-cooking oats
1 1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
12 oz M&M's semi-sweet chocolate candy
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
In large mixing bowl, cream margarine, peanut butter and sugars. Add eggs and vanilla and beat until light and fluffy; set aside.
Combine flour, oats, baking soda and salt; gradually add to creamed mixture. Stir in M&M Semi-sweet chocolate candies until evenly blended. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake 8-12 minutes until lightly browned. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheets; remove to wire cooling racks. Store in tightly covered container.
Makes about 3 dozen (2 1/2 inch) cookies
