MUELLER'S CLASSIC LASAGNE (2000)
2 containers (15 oz each) ricotta cheese
2 eggs, slightly beaten
2 cups (8 oz) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese, divided
5 1/2 cups Meat Sauce (refer to Mueller's favorites for recipe)
16 ounces Mueller's Lasagne noodles, cooked, drained
1. In medium bowl combine ricotta, eggs, 1 1/2 cups mozzarella and 3/4 cup Parmesan.
2. Spread 1 cup Meat Sauce in 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking dish. Layer 1/4 of the lasagne noodles, 1/3 of the ricotta mixture and 1 cup Meat Sauce. Repeat layers twice.
3. Top with remaining lasagne noodles and Meat Sauce. Cover with foil.
4. Bake in 375 F oven 35 minutes. Remove cover; sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup mozzarella and 1/4 cup Parmesan. Bake 15 minutes longer. Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
Makes 12 servings
