Recipe(tried): Orange pepper icecream

You wont believe this, but after a little too much sake...... I roasted a large sweet orange pepper over the bbq, peeled off the outer singed skin, and put the sweet pulp in a blender with a cup and a half of melted vanilla hagen dazs, blended it for two minutes at least until smooth, returned it to the freezer to firm up.... and it was knockout!

My girlfriend had challenged me to a bell pepper themed dinner (we like Iron chef), and I made a roasted red pepper and creamcheese mousse served over smoked salmon, lamb and herb stuffed green peppers for an entree, but this desert was the amazing finale. The sweetness of the orange pepper really dances in the mouth.....allez cuisine!
