Recipe(tried): Pancake Syrup

Misc.

Hi Chip and Your Daughter,

I found by accident that you can make any kind of fruit syrup. Use your
favorite recipe for jelly, but omit the pectin and waterbath can as you
normally would. I have tried and tested these many times. I have six
boys ages ranging from 18 down to eight. Our absolute favorite is
apple - plum.

5 cups fruit juice of choice.
7 1/2 cups sugar

Put juice in an eight quart pot. Bring to rolling boil and add the sugar.
Boil 5 minutes. Skim off any foam (sometimes happens with apples). Process
in water bath canner the same as you would for jelly recipes.
