Recipe(tried): Popcorn maker for the microwave
Misc.Hi Mark, I was looking for an air popper for popcorn and my initial purchase was a dud, it sent kernels flying all over the kitchen. I recently purchased the 5 Presto 04830 PowerPop Microwave Multi-Popper from Amazon.com, and really liked it. You use it in your microwave with or without oil, and the popcorn is good and crunchy, not dried out.
You use a "concentrator" in the popper, which supposedly lasts 8 cycles with oil, 24 without - I have not made that much yet.
The machine cost about $15. I like the popper because it keeps the kernels contained.
Hope this helps.
