Recipe(tried): Pilgreens Steak House Fried Cauliflower (copycat recipe)
Appetizers and SnacksIf you have ever been to a Pilgreens Steak House in Georgia or anywhere else they have them then you know of their famous fried cauliflower... SOOOO YUMMY, and so easy to make and it taste just like theirs.
All you need for the batter is:
Bisquick
1 egg
milk
oil
Salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste
Mix the ingredients together in a medium bowl to make the batter.
Cut fresh cauliflower and into stalks; wash and pat dry with paper towel.
Heat oil in deep pan or fry daddy.
Thoroughly dip cauliflower, one piece at a time, into the batter. Put several stalks into the fry daddy or deep frying pan at a time and cook about 6 minutes on each side or until golden brown all over.
Serve with your favorite dip. I like to use cocktail sauce.
My family could live off of these and they don't even like cauliflower... give em a try
