Recipe(tried): Pork, Lentil and Apple Soup (crock pot)

1 lb lean boneless pork, cut into 1/2-inch pieces
1 cup dry lentils, rinsed and drained
3 cooking apples, peeled, cored, and cut up
1 tsp dried marjoram, crushed
2 cans (14 oz each) beef broth (3 1/2 cups)
Lightly coat a large skillet with cooking spray, heat over medium heat . In hot skillet cook the meat until brown. Drain off the fat.
Transfer meat to a 4-quart crock pot. Add the lentils, apples, and marjoram, and the broth. Stir to mix.
Cover crock pot and cook on LOW setting for 6 to 8 hours or on HIGH for 3 to 4 hours.
