Recipe(tried): roasted tomatoes for pasta sauce

Misc.
When I roast tomatoes for pasta sauce, or just to add them to other sauces, I cut them in half and lay them meat side down on a flat baking sheet(like a cookie sheet). I place cloves of garlic between the tomato pieces, dribble a little x-tra virgin olive oil over everything and roast this at 250 degrees for at least one hour. The tomatoes take on a deliciously sweet flavor and the roasted garlic ...well, it's wonderful!!
