Recipe(tried): Rockfish Roasted Jalepeno Soup - The Real Recipe!

ROCKFISH ROASTED JALAPENO SOUP

2 cups chopped onion yellow
2 tbsp fresh pureed garlic
3 quarts heavy cream
2 quarts water
2 cups chopped tomatoes
2 cups chopped red bell peppers
1/4 cup chicken base (bouillon) (bouillon may vary you may need less watch the salt)
3 oz fresh jalapenos, well roasted/pureed
4 oz cilantro (pureed)
3 tbsp butter
1 cup corn starch (completely dissolved water)
1 cup water cold mixed with corn starch
salt and ground white pepper (to taste)

In a med/hot stock pot saute garlic and onions until translucent. Combine all ingredients except salt/pepper and cornstarch mixture. Simmer 20 minutes.

Slowly whisk in cornstarch mixture until desired thickness. You may not need all of it. Add salt/pepper to taste. Simmer 3 more minutes remove from heat.
