Recipe(tried): scraped vanilla beans

Recipe: I have a recipe for cheesecake, that says to scrape 1/2 vanilla bean and then blend it into the cream cheese and other ingredients and then bake it. It does not say to take the bean out of the mix. Won't that cause hard pieces of vanilla bean to be in my cheese cake, or is this ok to leave the whole bean in after it is blended? Please answser soon.
