Recipe(tried): Shrimp de Jonghe

Misc.

Cindy,

Finally, I found the recipe -I'm posting it here now but will also e-mail it to you:

Shrimp de Jonghe
(Serves 6 to 8)

1 cup butter or margarine
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup parsley, chopped
1/2 tsp paprika
dash hot sauce
2/3 cup sherry
1-1/2 cups plain bread crumbs
1/2 cup Italian bread crumbs
5 to 6 cups peeled, deveined, cooked shrimp (preferably cooked in Zatarain Boil)

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

Melt butter. Add garlic, parsley, paprika, hot sauce, and sherry. Place shrimp in an 11x7x1-1/2" baking dish. Spoon butter mixture over shrimp. Sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until crumbs brown. Sprinkle parsley over top and serve with white rice.

I hope you hadn't given up and that this tastes as good as the restaurant dish!
