I make these on occasion, and don't really use a recipe. The basic seasonings I use are sesame oil to saute, loads of garlic, soy sauce, a bit of ginger, and a small amount of red pepper flakes for some kick- those can obviously be omitted. Delicious! I have never looked at my local Asian stores for the Chinese long beans used at the restaurants, I just use fresh regular green beans from the grocery store. You are making me crave them though- I think next time I'll go the extra mile and check at the Asian mkt!! YUM!
