Recipe: some thoughts inexpensive wedding recipes ...
Holidays, CelebrationsYes we do need more info to help you, but in the mean time ...
Run a search here for wedding and you will find lots of ideas.
An idea Peggy had once upon a time was to have Cookies instead of cake -- have friends bake them or you dould do way ahead yourself and freeze.
Do not plan on doing the cooking the night before -- no matter who you are or what you can do under normal circumstances this is a set up for disaster!
ENLIST help
You do NOT need to serve a meal either -- remember when weddings were that a wedding ceremony? Cookies and punch or cake and punch can do fine.
If it is small and intimate then those coming are those who care for you and understand the situation and will be honored to be a part of your special day.
What about a ceremony now then a welcome to our new life party later? say in a month or so -- it could even be part of the invite to the ceremony ... I've never seen this done but it is a creative alternitive and I kinda like it!
You can have your wedding day and then a party with your husband in your new home and even use some of the wedding gifts you recieve!
I have to run and teach 14 yr old how to make scratch cookies right now but I'll think on some woring ideas if you'd like
