Recipe: Spicy Pineapple Cream Cheese Spread
Appetizers and SnacksThis recipe is from Pillsbury Mix and Match Meals, a cookbook my stepmother gave me.
SPICY PINEAPPLE CREAM CHEESE SPREAD
1/4 cup apple jelly
1/4 cup pineapple preserves
1 Tablespoon dry mustard
1 Tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 (8 ounce) pkg. 1/3-less-fat cream cheese (Neufchatel)
In small saucepan, combine apple jelly, pineapple preserves, dry mustard and horseradish; mix well. Cook over medium heat until jelly is melted, stirring occasionally. Cover, refrigerate at least 1 hour or until chilled.
To serve, place cream cheese on serving plate. Top with jelly mixture. Serve with assorted crackers
