Recipe(tried): Sweet Grits
Breakfast and BrunchHaving been eating grits for most of my 60+ years. At our house we always added butter and sugar, or in the days when we milked our own cows and had thick cream we added the crezm and sugar over our grits. Some people cook their grits with milk in the cooking liquid, we never have. They could have added honey or cane syrup as a sweetner, this I have seen done also.
