Recipe(tried): thinning chocolate chips

Tips and Tricks - Cooking
I use this for fruit, and dipping my Christmas cookies for a festive addition. Use anytime during the year. To thin a 12-16 oz. bag of chocolate chips, add 1-2 tsp. of Crisco shortening. Due NOT use butter, as butter contains H2O,water, and will cause the chocolate to "cease" or curdle.
