WESTERN HASH
1 lb. ground beef
1 cup chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup chopped onion
1 (28 oz. can) tomatoes (3 1/2 cups)
1 cup uncooked rice
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon dried basil
Dash of pepper
1/2 lb. Velveeta Pasteurized Process Cheese Spread, sliced
Brown meat.
Add green pepper, onion, tomatoes, rice and seasonings. Cover; simmer 25 minutes.
Top with Velveeta slices; heat until melted.
Makes 6 servings
