Recipe(tried): We did an appitazer buffet at our wedding...
Misc.HI....We did a cold appitizer spread at our wedding last July. We chose to have all cold ones so we didn't have to worry about keeping anything hot. WE planned our whole wedding ourselves and it was GREAT! We spent less than $3,000...I Loved EVERY thing about it and NOTHING looked cheap. I do have a best friend who is a cake decorator, so we did not have to pay for that. I have a ton of pictures if you would like I can email you some for ideas. We did the whole melon bowl thins and lots of fruit and vegies. It was so hot out that day! We had shrimp coctials and cucumber sandwiches...they are yummy when you use a vegitable creamcheese spread instead of just plain. We also had lots of hand diped choclate prtzals and strwberries. They are so easy to do yourself. we had a ton more things on the table and it looked great. I have a ton of ideas on how to dress up the table too if you are interested...Let me know.
