ISO: Better Than Robert Redford Cake

i live in the uk and want to make the pudding recipe / dessert for 'Even Better Than Robert Redford' which uses two ingredients that i cannot find in the uk. These are 'Cool whip' and 'instant pudding'. What are these ingredients? and what would be a suitable replacement found in the uk????
