ISO: Cloves cake

Misc.

We had a foreign exchange student from Sweeden. He made a cake he said was his grandmas recipe. It was a pound cake made with flour, cream, butter, eggs and an outragous amount of cloves. Something like 1/4 to 1/2 cup of cloves. I have searched and searched for such a recipe and have not been able to find. Hopefuly someone out there knows this cake and can post the recipe. He had a Sweedish name for the cake. I called it a cloves cake. Very delecious. To my surprize it was moist and the cloves was not over powering.
