ISO: Cookies that travel well

I was hoping that everyone out there could help me with some recipes for cookies that travel well. My nephew is on his 2nd tour of Iraq (He's in the Marines) and I wanted to make him some cookies to send but I wanted something that will travel well. I would appreciate any help anyone can give me.
