ISO: easy, make ahead appetizers

Misc.

My husband and I are having our annual clambake. The party usually starts around noon time, so I like to have an assortment of appetizers to feed our 25-30 friends. I usually try to come up with some different things other than the boring chips and dip.(although they will be on our table) I would like recipes for easy, make ahead of time, appetizers. Conveinence is the key. I am also looking for recipes for jalapeno poppers. My friends are always trying to out do one another when it comes to preparing hot, spicy appetizers. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
