ISO: Freezing jam and 'keeping' jam

Misc.
Can you freeze any homemade jam
or does it specifically have to be freezer jam?
I have a jam recipe which I have made using
jello powder instead of pectin. The jam is quite
yummy but I have found it doesn't keep well. The
directions call for wax to seal it, should I can it
or can I freeze it?
