ISO: Hawaiian style butter rolls

Misc.
I have a recipe unfamiliar to me for a type of yeast roll. One of the ingredients needed is "dough conditioner". Can someone please tell me if this is something I make myself or something I can buy. Any info would be helpful as I am a novice baker. TIA!
